Tony Pope

We serve over 10,000 households and small business owners throughout the Carolinas and Georgia. We provide car insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, life insurance and small business insurance. We also insure motorcycles, boats and recreational vehicles.

Our Summerville office has consistently ranked among the top 1% of all State Farm Agents in the country for over 20 years. Tony was the first State Farm Agent in SC to become a Multiple Office Agent with the founding of our Mount Pleasant office in 2012. He was the second agent in the country to open a third office when we opened the North Charleston office in 2021. Our team of thirty talented professionals, providing over 500 years of insurance and financial service experience, bring extensive knowledge to our work of protecting our customers and their future. Like a good neighbor, we place an emphasis on investing in customer relationships as well as the communities we serve.

When Tony is not working, he enjoys volunteering and supporting his local community. He serves on the Board for Beyond BASIC Life Skills where he was Chairman of the Board for three years. Tony is on the Charleston Regional Development Alliance and Chairman of the Board for the Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center. Tony is a past board member of the Rotary Club of Summerville, having served as Club President in 2001-2002. He was Club Rotarian of the Year in 2007-2008 and 2015-2016.

Tony also served as Assistant District Gov. for Rotary International District 7770 from 2011-2014. Tony served as Chairman of the Board of the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce in 2008 and 2017. He is a member of the Mt Pleasant, North Charleston, Georgetown, Berkeley, Summerville, Tri-County and Charleston Metro Chambers of Commerce. He also serves as the President of the Berkeley County Gamecock Club, on the Trident Technical College Foundation Board, and the Dorchester County Economic Development Board.
